How do you resolve WOAF field spam and/or hijacking? If you believe the pages can produce $$ (and I do) then don’t you need a cononical source that correctly identifies the rightful page owner for a given track or set of metadata? Because of the power law (80-20 rule etc.) a hacker who picks off the most valuable sites (ie by providing doctored mp3s to the ecosystem) might remove trust from the system to the point where artists don’t bother.
